Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018
The Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 is undoubtedly ‘the most awaited car of 2018’. And the wait is finally over! The 2018 Maruti Swift will officially launch in India at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. Based on the innovative HEARTECT platform, the all-new 2018 Swift gets a new design language with major cosmetic upgrades. According to Autoportal.com, it will be powered by the same reliable and trusted engine that powers the outgoing model.
The new generation 2018 Swift will get the new single-frame front-grille placed between bug-like projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail-lights, sporty allow wheels, re-designed front & rear bumpers, floating-style roof design with blackened B-pillar. On the inside, it gets a new dashboard design, new infotainment system and everything here has became better than before.
Hyundai Santro 2018
The new big car to be showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo is the new generation Hyundai Santro. This car was first launched in 1998 and was the face of success for the company in India. It roared on the Indian roads for almost 16 years before discontinuing in 2014. Later in 2016, several reports claimed that Hyundai will re-launch this car soon. And with several testing reports, camouflage avatars and spied-pics emerging from Europe and India, it is now confirmed that the 2018 Hyundai Santro will be a major attraction at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Tata Tigor Sports
The Tata Tigor is not a new hatchback for the Indian market. It has been one of the most successful and best-selling cars made by Tata Motors in the recent times. And now, Tata Motors is all-set to launch the ‘Sports’ variant of this hot-selling hatchback at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo.
The Tata Tiago Sport will be Tata’s first car in the ‘hot hatchback’ segment, which currently has hot-selling cars like Baleno RS, Figo Sport, Punto Abarth and VW Polo GT. The Tiago Sport is going to be the smallest and cheapest ‘hot car’ in this segment. It will be powered by 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged Revotron petrol engine churns 110PS of maximum power at 5,000rpm and 170NM of peak torque at 2,000-4,000rpm.
Hyundai i20 Facelift
The next-big car by Hyundai at the 2018 Auto Expo will be the 2018 Hyundai i20, which is much more than a regular facelift update. It will get an all-new 1.2L Kappa Petrol Engine coupled with CVT technology, which will replace the existing 1.4L AT engine. With this, the prices are also expected to reduce. Also, there will be all-new single piece ‘Cascade’ grille on the front, tweaked bumpers and headlamps, and much on the inside as well.
Other features here includes other features like seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation as well as Mirror Link, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control with rear air-conditioning vents, driver and passenger side airbags, ABS, fog lamps, rear parking sensors and rear camera.
Tata H5 SUV
The last car on our list is the big-SUV, codenamed as H5 SUV by Tata Motors. Just like some of the others cars on this list, the Tata H5 was also spotted testing various times on the Indian roads. Adding to the fun, Tata Motors has also confirmed the launch of this SUV with a series of teasers shared on their social media handles.
The Tata H5 SUV will be one of the two SUVs by Tata Motors which will be launched at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. It is expected to be launched in 5-seater or 7-seater configuration. This SUV will be based on Tata’s new and innovative IMPACT Design 2.0 platform for passenger cars. The IMPACT Design 2.0 will be an update to the IMPACT Design that was the soul for Tiago, Tigor, Hexa and Nexon.
