How To Use CBD Oil in Everyday Cooking

For some chronic diseases like multiple sclerosis, CBD can be the difference between a life of misery, weakness, and maybe even horrible side effects of toxic medications, and a life of functionality with the worst symptoms being greatly alleviated. For other conditions, CBD oil can act as a great source of pain relief and anti-inflammation, and on the mental side of things, many people have experienced awesome results in treating their depression or anxiety with it. So for anyone who medicates themselves with CBD and must dose themselves maybe multiple times a day, it might get tiresome to have to constantly take drops under your tongue, or apply creams and oils to areas of your body. Sure its a simple and menial task, but some people might be interested in how to use CBD oil in their cooking.

Incorporating it into your food is a great way to change things up and sometimes it becomes even more effective at what it was doing for you when ingested with healthy foods. The easiest way to go about this is to simply whip up some CBD infused butter and then cook with that butter. When cooking with that butter, only add it to dishes that won’t be heated beyond 350 degrees Fahrenheit, because anything hotter than this could evaporate the CBD. To infuse it into butter it does take a few hours.

A good starting point is 15mg for every 500g of butter, but obviously this can be modified depending on your personal dosage. Cut your butter into pieces and throw it in a saucepan, then add your CBD oil and about 4 cups of water. Now you want to let this cook for a good 3 or 4 hours on a low heat, making sure to stir it at least every half hour. Make sure you have the time to do this beforehand so you don’t end up overcooking it and wasting your medicine. Once the cooking is done, you just have to let it chill for another couple hours, and then it’s ready to go! You can add it to pasta sauce, simply melt it over popcorn, or even bake with it as long as you make sure not to bake it over 350 degrees. Now that you know how to use CBD oil in your cooking, you’re all set to enjoy your medicine as part of delicious meals.
